Update: Hello Lovelies
To start off, I have been away from my blog for a long time. A lot has happened in the past few months.
Thankfully, I have been staying healthy and been taking care of my self as I navigate this new normal as I know all of you are.
I have felt a lot of different emotions throughout this time, I've had my fair share of good and bad days. Most recently I was just done with allowing myself to have bad days, I read somewhere that instead of saying i'm having a bad day to think of it as, "I am having a character building day". Since hearing these words I have been more proactive to make each day count. I'm taking on a couple of personal projects which i'm excited to continue to build on. I have been running a lot more, I had taken a long hiatus from this too so i am excited and look forward to running more and more miles!
I am very fortunate to have my boyfriend by my side, I moved to New York about a year and a half ago by myself. All of my family and friends are back home in Oregon or other parts of the world. I am lucky to be able to cry on his shoulder when I need it, hug him when I feel weak and hold his hand as he encourages me to find myself through this time.
I hope you are all well and healthy, if you need to call a friend, mom, dad, brother, sister, whomever, do so. It is very important to be connected with the people whom matter to you. If you're not okay, please ask for help. Don't suffer in silence. We are all navigating through this together. If no one has told you today, you matter, you make a difference and I believe in you. From my heart to yours, keep pushing through, it will all be okay! Sending you all a very tight virtual hug.
As I write this I am filled with excitement for the future, although it is uncertain, I am thinking of the things I can do that will fill my life with happiness on my new found journey.
Life is an adventure!
